This is from the Tomb of the Unknown at Arlington Cemetery, Washington DC. I think the mood of the image is really fitting for black and white. The only thing I find annoying is that it was raining, but the rain is far from as prominent in the picture as I would like. And perhaps that part of the stock is cut off.
Oh, and by the way, I looked a bit into the guy's medals (I have close-ups, and I used to be a soldier myself :-)). The list of the medals I could identify is below, but the short story is that he has been deployed to Iraq, just like me, where he has been in combat. He has received a couple of medals for metorious service and is a parachutist. He is also in the army, not the marines.
